"I am excited to be a part of the Sunlive MA coaching academy for the fourth year. Last year was a huge success, where I met lots of inspiring individuals and made new friends within our sport. Lucas and the sun live Group were fantastic hosts, and I have no doubt that the hospitality, fun and sun will be just as amazing in 2022. We will have brand new experts, which will be announced as people register. As before, the aim is to create an environment for coaches to come together and develop, with some guidance from myself and other experts in their field. The format will be unique, with some great networking opportunities. There will be brilliant excursions for coaches and gymnasts too. This is open to clubs and federations so everyone fitting the criteria is welcome from all around the world. Numbers are limited. Please contact Lucas via the website for further detail."
Our Technical Team: Anthony Wise, Ben Howells, Scott Hann, Ilan Gazit, Matt Jackson and Saber Arfaoui
After feedback from the first two academies - the last two editions were run as a training camp with ultimate success!
Two sessions are run per day and the experts will take on the warm ups, physical preparation, rebound and fast-track sessions.
During the warm ups and physical preparation sessions, experts will focus on fundamentals and basic shaping that should be an essential part of any programme. The beauty of Coaching is that an individual can be creative to find a way to develop a skill or routine in many different ways. However, what is essential is that a consistent, well balanced programme, ensuring all of the none negotiable fundamentals, is in place. Thats where we come in!
There will be smaller bite size clinics on some essential elements, but also on areas that may be requested by candidates. These will be at the beginning or end of sessions so as not to disrupt your training.
There will be experts will be in the gym, allocated to apparatus, to offer advice and feedback and to discuss techniques or answer any questions you may have. We will also have a group of international junior gymnasts training to watch and question.
Then during the evenings there will be some lectures on judging and planning and also some interactive discussion topics, which will include competition preparation and anything else candidates may wish to explore.
During one afternoon delegates will enjoy a trip to the beach and have the option of an activity such as surfing. And there will be an opportunity to experience the nightlife on the last evening too should they wish.
This is a great opportunity to network, develop and grow in a safe fun environment for coaches and gymnasts.
